Horizons of Hope: A Toolkit created by the CCCB

Posted on September 5, 2024

Created by the Canadian Catholic Conference of Bishops, the Horizons of Hope toolkit seeks to empower and educate parishioners and address questions surrounding palliative care, dying, death, suffering and bereavement in a holistic fashion. The content explores how palliative care is understood from a perspective of Catholic moral and pastoral theology, medical expertise, and the Compassionate Community model. To learn more, visit the CCCB website. To register for an upcoming event, see below.

This very popular one-day session will be offered at St. Joesph's Parish, Langley. Join the parish for an interactive day of prayer, videos and discussion. This is an opportunity for caregivers, those who are sick, and family members to find support and help each other live well until our earthly life is over. We hope to facilitate meaningful conversations grounded in the mercy and tenderness of the living Christ. All the videos and materials are produced by the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops.
